This application for the 2022 U.S. Lymphedema Therapist Scholarship is now open. This will allow LE&RN/LymphNotes to award up to nine (9) additional scholarships for this cycle.The LE&RN/LymphNotes U.S. Lymphedema Therapist Scholarship was established to meet the need for additional lymphedema therapists in the United States.LE&RN/LymphNotes Award Amount: Up to $1,000 towards a Full Lymphedema Certification Course offered by a certification program at a qualified training school pre-approved by LE&RN. Funds will be applied directly to the course tuition. Scholarships may NOT be applied to courses that have been completed or are in progress prior to notification. Final decisions will be made by the review committee in February 2023.Certified Lymphedema Therapists are not eligible to apply.Eligibility Requirements:- The following professional unrestricted licensures are accepted for scholarship eligibility:
- Must be a current supporting member of LE&RN ($60/year minimum). Become a supporting member here.Submission Requirements:- A complete application- Resume and/or Curriculum vitae (CV)- One letter of recommendation on institution letterhead from a colleague or instructor that includes his/her name, position, and contact information including email address
Required documents include your resume or CV and a letter of recommendation from your mentor or employer. The letter of recommendation must be on institution letterhead and include his/her printed name, position, and contact information including email address. Be sure to label the documents with your name and the document type (eg - Jane Doe Resume, John Doe Letter of Recommendation).NOTE: The actual letter of recommendation must be uploaded. A document with the contact information for your mentor or employer is NOT sufficient.
Short Essay Questions are required for this application. Limit responses to 250 words.
